Scouting encourages the development of Young People and Improvement of society through Fun, Friendship, Adventure and Challenge.  The youth programme for scouts offers opportunities for them to prepare their ‘life-plan’ and develop ‘life-skills’.

Our programme includes lots of scout skills, great games and plenty of fun! They learn how to do all sorts of cool things like pioneering, cooking, fire-lighting, equipment safety, advanced First Aid, navigation and plenty of other very useful life-skills.

Through out the scouting year they’ll have the opportunity to take part in many and varied scouting challenges organised at group, county and national level.

At the end of the year the group organises a scout camp which alternates between overseas and Ireland.
