Hi Everyone,
The ferry that we WERE booked in on to go to Holyhead was the Dublin Swift. That’s a fast ferry. Great for speed, but doesn’t sail in bad weather!
The forecast for Saturday morning is not too bad, but winds are gusting at around 45kms. Our guess is it will be cancelled due to weather. Even if it does sail, it would likely not be comfortable.
We’re now sailing with Stena in the early hours of Saturday morning. To be honest, this gives us slightly better travel times anyhow.
SO…
We’re now departing from Frankfield church car park at 8pm on Friday night. (Way more sociable a time for you as parents anyhow! 🙂 )
Nothing else really changes. Please now arrange a packed evening meal for them to bring, instead of a packed breakfast.
