Note:
- Ensure your scout has a good breakfast
- We will do a quick gear check before leaving the meeting point.
Hike Gear Needed
- Neckerchief
- Hiking boots – ground is uneven and wet, so boots are a must.
- Rain gear – Jacket with hood & water proof trousers
- Hiking trousers – No jeans or cotton tracksuits!
- Thermals / skins
- Warm clothes – Multi light layers are best
- Hat & Gloves
- Torch & spare batteries
- Bivvy bag or large heavy duty refuse sack
- Food and Drink to bring:
Healthy packed lunch
Water – 1 ltr minimum
Healthy snacks to have during hike.
- Change of clothes in seperate bag:
Shoes + warm hoody for after hike.
Can be left in leaders car boot.
