Hi All,
Cue the drum roll…
Camp 2014 will be:
Silver Cross Campsite in Swansea.
We’re going back, yet again, to Silver Cross. This will be the 5th time that we’ve spent our 2 week summer camp in Swansea. Why, you may ask? Simple because it’s one of the best sites we’ve ever seen, with campsite staff that make it all a pleasure! The surrounding area of Swansea & Gower offers great activities & great prices!
Firstly, can I suggest you have a look at:
The link above will bring you to lots of info on our last camp to Swansea.
The Details:
Dates will be: 5th July 2014 to 19th July 2014 (Saturday to Saturday).
As we no longer have a Cork / Swansea Ferry, we’ll travel by coach to Rosslare, and then by Ferry from Rosslare to Fishguard. Finally, we’ll go by train from Fishguard to Swansea. (And the same basically in return, two weeks later).
The Cost:
The cost for camp this year will be €500. This will, as ever, include everything. ALL meals, admissions etc are included. The only thing spending money will be needed for is presents or souvenirs to bring home or some money for the tuck shop etc.
If you’d like more information on the site, please go to:
What should you do now?
Let your leader know now that you’d like to go. We’ll need a (non refundable) deposit of €100 paid before the end of January. Further stage payments will be announced shortly after that.
Please contact any of the Leaders, or myself, with any queries. We’d be only delighted to answer them!
Regards & Yours in Scouting,
Enda.
