Camp Update – 31 May 2010
Hi All,
Camp is now getting very close!!! A few details:
- BLOG!! We will (hopefully) be running a blog throughout camp again this year. We have started it and will be posting any info regarding camp. This can be checked out at our website: https://douglasscouts.ie
- Next Monday is a bank holiday (7th June) so we’ll have no meeting then. EVERYONE going to camp will meet on the Wednesday (9th June) @ 7:30pm and on all subsequent Wednesdays until camp. While it’s important for all people going to camp to be at these Wednesday meetings – we’d love to see everyone there, going or not!!
- PASSPORTS! Having originally told us that Birth Cert’s would suffice for under 16’s, Fastnet Line have now told us that we’ll need passports for everyone travelling. If anyone doesn’t have a passport, current delays at the passport office would make it very urgent to go about this NOW.
- We will have a parents meeting at 7:30pm on Monday 14th June. This will be an opportunity to get some more details about camp & ask any questions that you might have! This should be a short meeting – we’d ask all parents of people travelling to Swansea to be there!
