Thanks to those who attended the camp meeting tonight!
Info from it included the list of things to bring. These are:
Full & Correct Uniform – Worn travelling and at other occasions throughout the camp.
- Hiking boots with ankle support – Strong and comfortable.
- Water bottle – At least 1 litre – Can use Coke Bottles
- Torch
- Whistle
- Sleeping Bag
- Ground Mat or Small Inflatable
- Bivvy Bag
- Track-ends/Leggings
- Warm Sweater
- T-Shirts
- Changes of Underwear
- Plenty of Socks
- Warm Nightwear
- Change of Shoes or Runners
- Shorts & Trousers
- Raingear – Waterproof Jacket & Trousers
- Warm Hat & Gloves
- Wash Gear – Toothbrush & paste, Shower Gel, Shampoo, Comb
- Towel
- Swimming costume & hat
- Tea-Towel & Dish Cloth
- Sunglasses & Sun hat
- Sun cream & Lip save
- Unbreakable – Cup, Plate, Bowl, Knife, Fork, Spoon
- Torch & Spare Batteries
- Spare Kneckerchiefs & Woggles
- Camera (We recommend disposable)
- Wallet
- Rucksack or similar type hold all
- Day trip bag
- VERY OLD CLOTHES FOR Spiderland!!!
We would ask not to anything electronic. (Mobiles, iPod’s, MP3’s, Gameboy’s, DS’s etc.) They can easily get lost / stolen / damaged and we will not / cannot accept any responsibility for them.
Due to the nature of the activities planned, we’d recommend not bringing good / expensive clothes.
