- What’s in Silver Cross? The site is made up of 15 acres of deciduous woodland, and is also bordered by the small river Llan. Along with the main camping area there is also a range of varying terrain, which is ideal for survival training, wide games, and many other activities.
They have ample space on the site to accommodate several troops camping side by side and this proves a great way of building friendships between groups from all over the UK and with many of the International Groups who visit the Site.
Activities Onsite include: Climbing & Abseiling, Archery, Air Rifle Shooting, Orienteering, Spiderland Assault Course & Circus Skills - How are we travelling?
Coach to Rosslare, then by Ferry to Fishguard.
Finally, by train to Swansea
We have Scouts from all three Scout Sections and a number of our Venture Scouts along with adult members going on camp this year.
Due to availability in travel we are now in a position to accept additional Scouts or Venture Scouts that didn’t get the chance to sign up back in January.
If you are interested in still going at this stage please contact your section leader ASAP and we’ll do our very best to accommodate you.
A great program of activities awaits so don’t miss out!
