Our meetings restart Monday 5th September @ 7pm.
Starting on October 3rd full Cub uniform to be worn on 1st Monday of every month. Uniform consists of Cub trousers, Cub top, neckerchief, woggle, black shoes and black socks.
Please have your Cub write their name on all of their gear.
Upcoming Cub events to note:
September 2016:
11th (Sunday 10am – 4pm) 3rd Year Cubs only Sixer/Seconder Workshop. Covers duties of Sixers/Seconders, games and communications. Venue: Doyle Rd.
12th (Regular meeting) – Sixers / Seconders will be assigned.
October 2016:
7th to 9th ( * – Friday / Sunday) – Spike Island weekend visit
TBC (Sunday) – County Urban Challenge – Orienteering / Quiz
TBC – (*) – Presentation of Chief Scout awards and Cub investitures. Subject to availability of the County Commissioner.
November 2016:
Xmas Cards – (*) For our Oz pen pals
6th – County Orienteering (Ballincollig)
December 2016:
7th – Annual gift giving ceremony. Venue: Ballinlough
January 2017:
27th to 29th ( * – Friday / Sunday) – Mt Melleray weekend visit
April 2017:
St Patricks’ Day cards – (*) For our Oz pen pals.
March 2017:
26th (Sunday) – County Cub Hike – Ballyhouras.
17th – (*) St Patrick’s Day church parade and flag honour party.
April 2017:
TBC ( * – Friday/Sunday) – Fota Island weekend camp. Date being reviewed due to possible clash with school Easter holidays.
28th April / 1st May – County Cub Camp
May 2017:
TBC (Friday / Sunday) – County Cub weekend Challenge. Venue: Kilcully
